Bachelor / Master

The Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) offers a limited number of bachelor and master theses, preferably to students with lecturers from IPP.
 

Diploma/Master theses can be done in conjunction with a university or polytechnic. Topics; primarily in physics; for polytechnics also in mechanics and materials technology.

The time accorded for bachelor theses is two to three months; for Diploma/Master theses about one year, depending on the particular study regulations. There is no remuneration.

 is a member of the multinational programme  "European Master in Nuclear Fusion Science and Engineering Physics" for coordinating training in fusion research and technology throughout Europe.

From 2010 until 2020 a total of 87 bachelor, 108 master and 26 diploma theses were done at IPP.
