With its postdoctoral positions in Garching and Greifswald, the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) offers qualified young scientists the ideal opportunity to continue their research after completing their doctoral degrees.
During your PostDoc phase you can expect exciting tasks and projects in an international scientific environment. You will acquire new skills and competencies through your work, but also through further education events and will be supported in your active career planning by the Career Center for Postdocs.
You can expect an employment contract according to the TVöD, initially limited to two years, and remuneration according to salary group 13.
On the websites of the scientific divisions you can find information about the research topics and projects and - if you are interested - you are welcome to apply for a PostDoc position with a unsolicited application afterwards. In addition, open PostDoc and scientific positions are advertised on our career page.
With their knowledge, their commitment and their creativity for new ideas and solutions, the more than 6,000 young scientists from around 125 countries make a significant contribution to the scientific excellence of the institutes of the Max Planck Society.
