Gender equality work

The Gender Equality Officers at the two locations in Garching and Greifswald work on a voluntary basis to promote gender equality and gender sensitivity and are elected for a four-year term of office by all eligible female employees.
 

The Equal Opportunities Officers and their representatives work to promote equal opportunities for junior staff, gender equality and work-life balance.

They support the institute's management in fulfilling the statutory equal opportunities mandate and are available to all employees as contact persons for advice and conflict resolution on issues relating to equal opportunities and also in the event of specific problems.
