IPP Alumni Club

IPP Alumni Club

The Alumni Club of Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) was founded in 1997 and has 200 members at present.

Who can become a member of the Alumni Club?

All former employees who were employed at the IPP and are now working elsewhere.

What are the aims of the Alumni Club?

The club serves to maintain contacts and exchange experiences with our former employees. We would like to continue to keep our alumni informed about exclusive and current developments at the institute. In addition, we offer them the opportunity to meet former colleagues again at our events and to maintain the exchange. Furthermore, IPP alumni play a central role in the Career Center for Postdocs, where they act as mentors and speakers. This enables us to provide our young employees with valuable insights into career opportunities outside the IPP.

Our IPP alumni receive the IPP magazine IMPULSE several times a year and are invited to annual alumni reunions.

We offer our alumni:

  • Regular alumni get-togethers
  • IPP magazine IMPULSE
  • Exclusive IPP news by email (from the intranet; otherwise for employees only)
