Greifswald’s fusion device as interactive panorama

  

This 360-degree panorama briefs the visitor on the Wendelstein 7-X fusion device. A mouse klick leads right into the plasma vessel, proceeds into the experimentation hall and ends up at the facilities for the microwave heating.

Here is how it goes:
By mouse scroll or gyro-function one can view at any angle and zoom in on individual screws. Brief video clips where IPP scientists talk about their work start and stop per mouse click. The panorama was recorded by photographer Volker Steger.
