Directions and public transport
To plan the trip from Munich Airport or Central Station to the Hotels or to IPP, we recommend to use the travel planner from the the city public transport (MVV) which also provides information about the fares. The public transport stops for Hotel Hoyacker-Hof is “Garching” and for Hotel-Gasthof Maisberger is “Neufahrn”.
A taxi from the airport to the hotel takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the which Hotel you are, and costs around € 30 to 40.
Conference Venue, D2 building
At arrival by U6 line, take exit "Boltzmannstrasse" and head towards the Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik (IPP) security gate. Our building (D2) is only 2 minutes away following the main road.
