Wendelstein 7-X fusion device – visualized from construction data

Wendelstein 7-X in Greifswald is the world's largest and most powerful stellarator fusion device. It is designed to prove that stellarators are suitable for the construction of nuclear fusion power plants. Wendelstein 7-X confines a plasma at millions of degrees Celsius in a complex magnetic cage.
