Location and accommodation

The 25th Topical Conference on Radio Frequency Power in Plasmas will be held from May, 19 to May, 22, 2025 in the castle Schloss Hohenkammer. The castle is located to the north of Munich, Germany (look here how to reach the castle).

An allotment of 150 rooms with a basis rate of 130 EUR/night (incl. breakfast) was reserved for the time period between Sunday, May, 18 and Thursday, May, 22. With an accompanying person, an additional charge of 20 EUR/night was requested and a double room instead of single room will be booked. The rooms cannot be booked within this allotment any longer. The residual rooms for these dates are subject to availability and room prices are subject to changes.

“Dietary requirements” for the conference dinner in the room booking form also mean dietary requirements for lunches.

As “Schloss Hohenkammer” is event-based hotel, room availibility is very limited for the arrivals earlier than on May, 18 and for the departures after May, 22. For the early arrivals and the late departures, we therefore recommend to consider hotels in the surrounding area (which is quite close to the Munich airport). For example, there are several hotels relatively close to Schloss Hohenkammer (for the early arrivals and the late departures only!):

• Biohotel Hörger (Hörger Biohotel Tafernwirtschaft). Located in Kranzberg (around 5.7 km from Hohenkammer), this family-run biohotel offers a quiet atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and a restaurant with a beer garden. Perfect for seminars and relaxation
• Hotel Villa Rosa. Located in Allershausen, this hotel offers comfortable rooms and a restaurant serving Bavarian cuisine. It is around 5.4 km from Schloss Hohenkammer.
• Hotel Huberhof.  A family-run hotel offering comfortable rooms and a restaurant with regional dishes. It is about 6 km from the castle.
• Hotel und Cafe Paso. Located about 9 km from Schloss Hohenkammer, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and a breakfast buffet. It's close to the Vierkirchen-Esterhofen S-Bahn station
